Any Volunteers?
Ocean Mist 2.0 is coming together nicely and will soon be ready for user testing. If you’d be interested in being one of the first to try the new theme all you need to do is comment below and I’ll send you a copy of the theme when it’s ready (hopefully in the next week or so).
Another Tidy-Up
As you may have noticed, edmerritt.com has had a little bit of a spruce up again… I just can’t stop tinkering.
Nothing major has changed: the header has a stronger contrast, the nav is stacked vertically and the ‘Clients’ area on the homepage has been given a little more prominance.
Hope you like it…
Fixed Footers Article
My latest article has just been published on Boagworld.
Fixed Footers without JavaScript
It describes a simple little CSS technique for attaching footers to the bottom of the browser window. The advantage to this technique is that longer pages will not disappear behind the footer, but will instead push it down below the content as you’d expect.
Previous techniques to achieve this behaviour have always relied on javascript.
